The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic and filled with gel. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the non-metallic strength member to form the cable core. The cable core is filled with water blocking yarns and wrapped with water blocking tape, and PE inner jacket is extruded. Then the aramid yarn armored around the inner jacket to reinforce. Finally, PE outer jacket or AT outer jacket is completed.

The cable is an ADSS, non-metallic cable using concentric core design. The cable utilizes aramid yarn as strength member. This extremely slim and low weight cable is suitable for a maximum span length of 60-170 meters. It can be installed adjacent to power lines up to 120 kV.
