Description:
GYTC8A/ GYFTC8A fiber optic cable is a type of self-supporting aerial cable with stranded steel messenger and aluminium tape light-armored, designed for outdoor long-distance communication.
Structure:
The 2-288 fibers are positioned in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube gel. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a metallic central strength member (or non-metallic FRP) to form a cable core. The core is filled with water-blocking compound and armored with laminated Aluminium Tape(APL). Stranded steel wires are applied as the messenger. Finally, a figure-8 PE outer jacket is extruded.
Features:
(1) Figure-8 design with steel messenger, easy for self-supporting aerial installation, reducing installation costs.
(2) Small diameter and light weight, easy for installation, reducing the impact of wind and ice on the cable during operation.
(3) Tube gel ensures critical protection of fiber
(4) Hydrolysis resistant loose tube
(5) Aluminium tape as moisture barrier
(6) Good mechanical and environmental performance
(7) Wide temperature range: usually from - 40 °C to 70 °C. This allows it to be used in various climatic conditions, from cold regions to hot and humid environments, ensuring the stability and reliability of optical signal transmission.
Applications:
Aerial Self-supporting Installation for telecommunication networks.
Reel Length: normally 2km, 3km, 4km, 5km (as your request)
Drum options: Fumigated Wooden Drum, Steel-reinforced Wooden Drum, Plywood Drum.
Cable and Drum Marking according to customer’s requirements.
