Description:
Double Steel Tape Armor: Double Corrugated Steel Tape (CST) provide superior mechanical protection against side crush, impact, and rodent bites.
2 Parallel Steel Wires Strength Member: Provides high tensile resistance
Central Unitube: Single Loose Tube filled with water-blocking gel, good protection for the fibers, this structure makes smaller size, light weight, esay installation.
The fibers are placed in a loose tube made of PBT which is filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of PSP (steel tape) longitudinally. Between the PSP and the loose tube water -blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and waterproof. Two parallel steel wires are placed at both sides of the steel tape, over which a thin PE inner sheath is applied. After the second PSP is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, finally the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath.

| 1. Optical Fibers | Single-mode (e.g., G.652D, G.657A1/A2) or multi-mode (e.g., OM3/OM4) fibers, colored with UV-resistant ink for fiber identification, loosely placed in the central tube. | |
| 2. Central Loose Tube | PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate) loose tube filled with tube gel to prevent moisture ingress and buffer the fibers from microbending. | |
| 3. Water-blocking Tape (Optional) | wrapped around the central loose tube to provide secondary water-blocking protection. | |
| 4. First CST Armor | Corrugated Steel Tape longitudinally wrapped around the central tube to ensure better moisture proof and rodent resistance. | |
| 5. Parallel Steel Wires | Two Galvanized steel wires (diameter: ~1.5-2.0mm) provide additional tensile strength | |
| 6. Inner Sheath | polyethylene (PE) | |
| 7. Second CST Armor | Corrugated Steel Tape longitudinally wrapped around the inner sheath, bonded with adhesive to improve crush resistance and rodent protection | |
| 8. Outer Sheath | Low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) or polyethylene (PE) | |
Features of GYXTW53 Fiber Optic Cable:
Superior Mechanical Protection: The double steel tape armor and dual sheaths offer high resistance to crush, impact, and tensile forces, suitable for direct burial without additional ducting.
Excellent Moisture and Corrosion Resistance: Water-blocking gel, water-blocking yarn or tape, and dual PE/LSZH sheaths effectively prevent moisture penetration and resist corrosion from soil, salt, and chemicals.
Rodent and Termite Resistance: The rigid steel tape armor acts as a physical barrier against gnawing damage from rodents and termites, which is critical for underground deployment in rural or forested areas.
Low Attenuation and Stable Performance: The central loose tube structure minimizes microbending loss, ensuring consistent optical transmission even under environmental stress (temperature variation, soil settlement).
Easy Installation: Light weight compared to traditional heavy armored cables, it supports direct burial, trench laying, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) installation methods.
Environmental Compliance: LSZH sheath options meet flame-retardant and low-toxicity requirements for applications in environmentally sensitive areas.
Applications:
Underground Direct Burial Networks: Primary application for long-haul backbone networks, urban access networks, and rural broadband projects, where cables are buried directly in trenches without duct protection.
Harsh Environmental Deployment: Suitable for areas with rocky soil, high soil pressure, or corrosive soil conditions (e.g., coastal regions, industrial zones with chemical contamination).
Rural and Remote Area Connectivity: Ideal for connecting remote villages, farms, and industrial sites where duct installation is costly or impractical.
Municipal and Utility Networks: Compatible with infrastructure projects such as smart city deployments, traffic monitoring systems, and power utility communication links.
