Outdoor FTTH Double-Fly Fiber Drop Cable 2-GJYXCH 2.0*8.0mm

Outdoor FTTH Self-supporting Double-fly Drop Cable 2-GJYXCH 2.0*8.0 mm

Overview:

The 2-GJYXCH 2.0×8.0mm FTTH double-fly fiber drop cable is a type of self-supporting optical fiber cable specifically designed for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) access networks. The "double-fly" structure refers to its integrated suspension element design, which enables direct aerial installation without additional supporting wires. With a cross-sectional dimension of 2.0mm (thickness) × 8.0mm (width), it features a compact profile that ensures easy routing, installation, and storage in indoor and outdoor FTTH scenarios. It adopts a single-mode optical fiber core (typically G.652D or G.657A1/A2) to meet the requirements of high-bandwidth data transmission, such as broadband internet, IPTV, and VoIP services.

Structure of FTTH Double-fly Drop Cable 2-GJYXCH:

FTTH double-fly indoor/outdoor drop cable structure: there are one steel wire in the center as supporting messenger and two optical fiber units independently, Two parallel FRP or steel wire are placed at the two sides of the optical fiber units separately. Then the cable is completed with a LSZH sheath.

Features of Double-fly FTTH Drop Fiber Cable:

• Unique double-fly design make the installation more simple, time-saving and cut down cost. The integrated double suspension elements eliminate the need for separate messenger wires, simplifying aerial installation procedures and reducing construction costs.

• Special low-bend-sensitivity fiber provides high bandwidth and excellent communication transmission property; Adopts single-mode optical fibers (G.652D/G.657A) with low attenuation and high bandwidth, supporting 10Gbps and higher rate transmission over long distances, which is compatible with current and future FTTH network requirements.

• Two parallel FRP or steel wire strength members ensure good crush resistance to protect the fiber;

• Simple structure, light weight and high practicability;

• Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber;

• Single steel wire or stranded steel wires together with the strength member ,  ensure good tensile properties of the fiber cable;

• Novel flute design, easily strip and splice, simplify the installation and maintenance;

• Environmentally Friendly Sheath: LSZH sheaths emit no toxic fumes when burned, ensuring safety in indoor environments.

Applications:

1.FTTH Access Networks: The primary application scenario, used for the "last kilometer" connection from the optical distribution point (ODP) or fiber distribution box (FDB) to residential user terminals (such as optical network units, ONUs).

2. Aerial Installation: Suitable for aerial laying in urban and rural areas, directly hung on utility poles or building exterior walls by utilizing the double-fly suspension structure.

3. Indoor Wiring: With LSZH sheaths, it can be used for indoor wiring scenarios such as residential corridors, apartment buildings, and office buildings, connecting the indoor optical wall outlet to user devices.
