GYXTC8Y is an outdoor mini figure‑8 self‑supporting loose tube fiber optic cable without metal armor. It adopts a single loose tube (uni‑tube) design, accommodating 2 to 24 optical fibers inside.
The cable integrates the optical fiber unit and galvanized steel messenger wire into an integrated figure‑8 HDPE outer sheath connected by a web. Thanks to the built‑in steel messenger, extra suspension wires are not required for aerial installation.
Available fiber options include single mode G.652D, G.657A1/A2, or multimode OM1/OM2/OM3/OM4. It is lightweight, compact and optimized for short‑span overhead access networks.
